HIFY volunteers and Interns play a vital role in helping us continue to deliver quality programs, trainings and information to young people. We are looking for people who want to use their talents and time to help others. There are several volunteer opportunities for people with or without specialized skills, throughout our programs and departments, including: Marketing & Communications, Community Outreach & Education, Program Support, Special Events & Fundraising, Office & Clerical Support, Human Resources and Web Development. Internship Opportunities
HIFY is always accepting applications from prospective interns throughout the year (Fall, Spring, and Summer Semesters). No relocation or transportation costs will be provided. All interns are to work at least 10-15 hours per week. Current Internship opportunities at HIFY
The intern will assist with the promotion of publications and programming. This is a great opportunity to gain substantive real-world experience to build awareness, identify markets in which to promote HIFY publications, brochures, and other materials, expand customer database, increase strategic partnerships and conduct internet market research.
Mental Health America seeks an energetic development intern to assist with special projects and day-to-day operations. Ideal candidates will have an interest in non-profits and fundraising. The internship will entail building donor relations, assisting with gift entry, mailings, and conducting internet research as needed. Special projects include development of online fundraising activities and foundation and major gift research. Candidates must be MS Office proficient and have strong internet research skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a professional phone presence, are desired.
Your task will be to help polish, perfect and expand HIFY web presence, by integrating new content with our existing online resources. Our Web Intern will handcode HTML updates to various site pages, create new sections and user features, design content development plans and format multimedia files for HIFY web pages. .........................................................................................................................................................................................................................
